Since the Statement of Claim was filed with the Saskatchewan Court of Queen's Bench earlier this year, two further amendments have been filed with the Court regarding the matter. We are refining and improving the claim by which we seek certification of a Canada-wide GLGI class action.

Personal service of the Claim was effected on a number of the Defendants, but for other Defendants, completing personal service continues to be an issue. Some of the Defendants are avoiding service.

In July, 2016, a court application was made to the Court for an Order authorizing substituted service on some Defendants and an extension of time to serve the Claim. A Judge granted an Order extending time for service until February 16, 2017, and MLG received several approvals for substituted service on certain Defendants. Presently, out of the 38 total Defendants to the Claim, we now have only 5 with unresolved  service issues.  We hope to resolve the remaining  issues with the  5 outstanding Defendants and continue to be surprised at how difficult it is to effect service. We cannot go forward to certification or take further steps until either everyone is served or we abandon the claim against Defendants who  are not  served.

Yours truly,
